id.tel Acceptable Use Policy

Effective 24 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-24-v1

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all use of id.tel, including business accounts, Partner Hub, Action Pages, AI features, APIs, QR tools, public AI Assistants and automated access. It forms part of the applicable Business Terms, Partner Terms or Website & AI Assistant User Terms.

1. General rule

Use id.tel lawfully, honestly and in a way that does not harm other users, businesses, third parties, the integrity of the platform or the security and availability of the Services.

2. Illegal activity

You must not use id.tel to commit, organise, promote or materially facilitate conduct that is unlawful in the jurisdiction applicable to you or to the relevant activity.

3. Fraud and deception

You must not use id.tel for fraud, scams, phishing, fabricated businesses, fake identities, deceptive offers, false credentials, stolen payment methods, dishonest chargebacks, false reviews, manipulated referrals or other deliberate deception.

4. Business identity

You must not claim, manage or publish a business as its owner or authorised representative when you do not have authority. You must not impersonate another person, organisation, government body, profession or brand in a way likely to mislead.

5. Misleading business information

Do not knowingly publish materially false or misleading information about prices, products, services, qualifications, licences, locations, availability, guarantees, discounts, reviews, accreditations or other matters likely to influence a customer decision.

6. Intellectual property

Do not upload, publish or distribute content that you know infringes another person's copyright, trade mark, confidential information, publicity right or other intellectual-property right. Legitimate reports of infringement may be sent to support@id.tel.

7. Privacy

Do not use id.tel to unlawfully collect, disclose, sell, scrape, infer, expose or misuse personal information. Do not use delegated Partner access or business data for purposes outside the authority granted to you. Privacy obligations are further described in the Global Privacy Policy.

8. Spam and unsolicited marketing

Do not use id.tel, id.tel branding, Partner status or information obtained through id.tel to send unlawful spam, bulk unsolicited electronic messages, deceptive marketing or communications that fail applicable consent, sender-identification or unsubscribe requirements.

9. Malware and harmful code

Do not upload, transmit, host, link to or intentionally distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, credential stealers, destructive code, malicious scripts or other code intended to compromise devices, accounts or systems.

10. Security attacks

You must not attempt unauthorised access, password attacks, credential stuffing, privilege escalation, session hijacking, exploitation, denial-of-service attacks, destructive testing, bypass of access controls or other attacks against id.tel or systems connected to it.

11. Security research

Do not perform penetration testing, vulnerability scanning or exploitation against id.tel without written authorisation. If you discover a potential vulnerability, stop before accessing unrelated data, preserve evidence responsibly and report the issue to support@id.tel.

12. Rate limits and resource abuse

Do not intentionally bypass rate limits, usage limits, AI allowances, subscription entitlements, location limits, payment controls or other technical restrictions. Do not generate traffic or workloads designed to degrade service for other users or impose disproportionate infrastructure costs.

13. Automated access and scraping

You may not use automated tools to access authenticated, private or restricted id.tel information without authorisation. Public crawling must respect applicable technical controls and must not create excessive load, circumvent security or reconstruct protected datasets. Legitimate search indexing and supported agent access may be allowed through public or documented interfaces.

14. Analytics manipulation

Do not manufacture page views, QR scans, AI conversations, clicks, leads, conversions, Partner referrals or other events for the purpose of falsifying analytics, earnings, rankings, reporting or commercial performance.

15. Partner attribution abuse

Do not engage in cookie stuffing, forced redirects, click injection, referral-code hijacking, fake referrals, duplicate-account schemes, self-referral abuse or other manipulation intended to obtain commission or Partner benefits that were not legitimately earned.

16. AI misuse

Do not use id.tel AI features to intentionally generate or distribute unlawful content, impersonate a business without authority, evade platform protections, create fraudulent representations, extract restricted information or automate abuse. Attempts to manipulate an AI Assistant into revealing protected system instructions, private business information, credentials or unrelated personal information are prohibited.

17. High-risk reliance

Do not configure or present a general id.tel AI Assistant as a substitute for emergency services or regulated professional judgement in circumstances where inaccurate output could create a material risk of serious harm. Businesses operating in regulated sectors remain responsible for required professional oversight and legal safeguards.

18. Harassment and threats

Do not use id.tel to make credible threats, stalk, harass, intimidate or target people unlawfully. Legitimate criticism, customer complaints and lawful business disputes are not prohibited merely because they are negative.

19. Exploitation and sexual abuse

Do not use id.tel to create, distribute, solicit or facilitate child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, trafficking or other unlawful sexual content or conduct. We may report apparent unlawful material to relevant authorities where required or appropriate.

20. Extremist and violent unlawful conduct

Do not use id.tel to materially facilitate terrorism, violent extremist activity, credible violent threats or instructions intended to enable unlawful serious violence.

21. Regulated activities

If you use id.tel in connection with a regulated industry, product or service, you are responsible for complying with applicable licensing, age-gating, advertising, disclosure, consumer-protection and other legal requirements. Availability of id.tel functionality does not constitute approval of the underlying regulated activity.

22. Sanctions and export controls

Do not use id.tel in a way that would cause IDTEL or another person to violate applicable sanctions, export controls or trade restrictions. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for compliance.

23. Attempts and assistance

These restrictions apply whether you perform prohibited conduct directly, attempt it, knowingly assist another person, or provide tools or instructions through id.tel for the purpose of carrying it out.

24. Investigation

Where we reasonably suspect a serious breach, we may preserve relevant records, investigate activity, request verification, restrict affected functionality or cooperate with lawful requests. We will seek to limit investigations to what is reasonably necessary.

25. Enforcement

Depending on seriousness and urgency, we may warn a user, remove content, restrict a feature, suspend an account, void fraudulent Partner earnings, terminate access or take other proportionate action. Immediate action may be taken for fraud, serious security threats, illegal content, unlawful access or material risk to users or the platform.

26. Opportunity to remedy

Where a breach is capable of remedy and does not require urgent action, we may provide a reasonable opportunity to correct it. Nothing in this section requires us to keep harmful content or access available while an investigation is underway.

27. Reporting abuse

Report suspected abuse, impersonation, fraud, intellectual-property issues or security concerns to support@id.tel. Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant business, page, account or activity.

28. Good-faith complaints

Do not knowingly submit false abuse reports or misuse complaint mechanisms to harass competitors or remove legitimate content. A mistaken report made honestly and in good faith is not prohibited merely because we reach a different conclusion.

29. Changes

We may update this AUP as the platform, law, abuse patterns and supported AI or agent functionality evolve. Material changes will be handled consistently with the applicable agreement.
