Visitors & AI

id.tel Website & AI Assistant User Terms

Effective 24 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-24-v1

These terms apply when you visit id.tel, view an id.tel business Action Page, scan an id.tel QR code, use an id.tel AI Assistant, submit an enquiry or otherwise interact with a public id.tel experience without acting as the subscribing business. If you create or pay for a business account, the Global Business Terms of Service also apply.

1. Who operates id.tel

id.tel is operated by IDTEL GROUP PTY LTD (ABN 69 693 776 966), Queensland, Australia. You can contact us at support@id.tel.

2. Public business pages

id.tel provides technology that businesses use to publish and organise information such as contact details, locations, opening hours, products, services, menus, FAQs, offers, booking links and other business information. Unless id.tel expressly states otherwise, the business shown on an Action Page is responsible for its own business information, products, services, prices, availability, promises and customer relationship.

3. Information can change

Business information may be supplied by a business, approved by an authorised partner, generated as a draft using AI, or derived from public sources before owner review. Businesses can update information at any time. You should verify information that is important to a purchase, journey, booking, safety decision or other material decision directly with the relevant business.

4. AI Assistant

An id.tel AI Assistant may answer questions using business information and automated AI technology. AI output is generated probabilistically and may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or misunderstood. Do not treat an AI response as a guaranteed statement from the business unless the business separately confirms it through an appropriate channel.

5. No regulated professional advice

Unless an appropriately qualified provider expressly gives advice through a separately identified professional service, id.tel and its general AI Assistant do not provide medical, legal, financial, tax, emergency, engineering or other regulated professional advice. Do not rely on a general AI Assistant for urgent, safety-critical or high-risk decisions.

6. Emergencies

Do not use an id.tel AI Assistant as an emergency service. If there is an immediate risk to life, health, safety or property, contact the appropriate local emergency service or qualified professional.

7. Prices, stock, bookings and availability

AI answers about prices, stock, appointments, opening hours, promotions, delivery or availability should be treated as informational unless the relevant business confirms them through a binding booking, order, checkout, quote or other recognised transaction process. Published prices and offers can be subject to conditions, expiry, taxes, location differences or correction of genuine errors where permitted by law.

8. No automatic authority to contract

Unless a feature expressly says otherwise, an id.tel AI Assistant is not authorised to enter a contract, waive a business policy, change a price, grant a refund, guarantee stock or make another legally binding commitment for a business. A binding transaction is formed only through the applicable business, booking, ordering, payment or contracting process.

9. Enquiries and contact actions

id.tel may let you call, text, visit a website, request directions, open a booking link, request a quote, place an order through a third party or submit an enquiry. Using a contact action does not guarantee that the business has received, accepted or acted on the request. Check for confirmation where the matter is important or time-sensitive.

10. Third-party services

Action Pages may link to third-party maps, social networks, booking systems, payment services, review platforms, websites, ordering providers or other services. Those services are operated under their own terms and privacy practices. id.tel is not responsible for a third party merely because a link is displayed on an Action Page.

11. QR codes

id.tel QR codes may redirect to a business Action Page and may record privacy-conscious attribution so the business can understand whether a QR placement led to visits or customer actions. A QR code does not itself verify the quality, safety, licensing or identity of a business beyond any verification that id.tel expressly describes.

12. Future agent interactions

id.tel may allow personal AI agents, software agents or other automated tools to retrieve business information or initiate supported actions. Unless a workflow expressly creates a binding transaction, an automated request, quote request, booking request or similar action remains subject to confirmation by the relevant business or transaction provider.

13. Information you submit

If you submit a question, enquiry, feedback or other content, you confirm that you are entitled to submit it and that it is not unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, malicious or infringing. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, identity documents, medical records or other sensitive information unless the relevant feature specifically and lawfully requests it.

14. Limited licence for submitted content

You give id.tel permission to process content you submit as reasonably necessary to provide the requested feature, maintain security, prevent abuse, comply with law and operate privacy-safe analytics. Our handling of personal information is described in the Global Privacy Policy.

15. Customer-question analytics

id.tel may derive privacy-minimised or anonymised information from AI Assistant questions so a business can understand what customers are asking and where its information may be incomplete. Our current design seeks to remove direct identifiers before customer-question analytics are surfaced to businesses or authorised partners.

16. Acceptable use

You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you must not use id.tel to attack systems, obtain unauthorised access, scrape restricted information, distribute malware, impersonate others, conduct fraud, manipulate analytics, overwhelm AI features or facilitate unlawful conduct.

17. Automated access

Search engines and legitimate software agents may access public content subject to applicable technical controls. Automated access must not bypass authentication, rate limits, security controls or instructions intended to protect non-public systems. We may restrict abusive or technically harmful automated traffic.

18. Intellectual property

id.tel, its software, interface, branding and platform technology are owned by IDTEL or its licensors. Business logos, photographs, trade marks and other business content remain subject to the rights of the relevant business or rights holder. You may use public pages for ordinary personal or business discovery, but you may not copy protected platform elements or content in violation of applicable law.

19. No endorsement merely from listing

The presence of a business on id.tel does not by itself mean that id.tel endorses, guarantees, certifies or recommends that business. Any specific verification badge, certification or status has only the meaning expressly described for that feature.

20. Privacy and cookies

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Global Privacy Policy. Our use of cookies, browser storage and similar technologies is summarised in the Cookie Notice.

21. Availability

We aim to keep public id.tel services available, but websites, AI providers, networks and third-party integrations can experience outages, maintenance or errors. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. Where practical, retry later or contact the relevant business through another official channel.

22. Security

Do not rely on id.tel as your only storage location for information you need to preserve. If you discover a security issue, report it responsibly to support@id.tel and do not exploit the issue or access data beyond what is necessary to demonstrate the problem.

23. Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, privacy right, statutory remedy or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded. If mandatory law in your country gives you stronger rights, those rights continue to apply.

24. Service disclaimer

Subject to mandatory law, public id.tel information and AI functionality are provided on an available and informational basis. We do not guarantee that every business statement, external link, AI response, search result, recommendation, opening hour, price or availability statement will always be complete and current.

25. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, id.tel is not responsible for losses caused solely by a transaction, product, service, representation or omission of an independent business or third-party provider. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability arising from our own fraud, deliberate misconduct or other liability that applicable law prohibits us from excluding.

26. Your dealings with businesses

Unless id.tel expressly states that it is the seller or contracting party, any purchase, booking, quote, service engagement or other transaction with a listed business is between you and that business. Questions about fulfilment, quality, warranties, refunds or business-specific policies should ordinarily be directed to that business.

27. Changes

We may update these terms as the public platform, AI functionality, law or supported transactions evolve. The current version and effective date appear at the top of this page. We will provide additional notice where required by law.

28. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia and applicable Commonwealth laws, subject to any mandatory law or jurisdictional rights that apply to you and cannot lawfully be waived.

29. Severability

If a provision cannot lawfully be enforced, it will be read down or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue to apply where legally permitted.

30. Contact
